The Department prides itself on high-quality and compassionate patient care in areas of antenatal, intrapartum, Postnatal welfare, Infertility, and Urogynaecology. It strives to incorporate excellent clinical services by a dedicated team of Ob-gyn Consultants. They take care of all women from adolescence to menopause. We provide emergency care for acute obstetrics and gynecology emergencies with a 24-hour functional operation theatre, alongside the routine work.

Our skilled Ob-gyn consultants give each patient the time and attention she deserves to achieve desired outcomes before, during, and after pregnancy and continues to provide care to the mother and baby with pediatrics consultants for excellent postnatal care 

 Labor Room

The labor and delivery experience for each woman is unique, knowing what to expect is what matters.

Common sequencing of labor and delivery:

• Pre labor - Thinning and opening of cervix
• Labour - cervical dilatation, Amniotic sac rupturing, Contractions that get stronger and closer together, till full dilatation of the cervix
• Delivery- of baby and placenta
• Post-delivery

However, sometimes labor and delivery take a surprising twist as you might need an unexpected C-section.

What matters is the health of you and your baby. Do not forget to talk about your labor and delivery preferences to your Obstetrician.
