Surgical Resident

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant clinical work experience.
• Completion of a 5-year residency training program in General Surgery.
• Valid NHRA Medical License as a Surgical Resident or Specialist.
• Candidates applying from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain must meet all NHRA licensure eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in clinical examinations and diagnostics to determine surgical necessity.
• Review patient medical histories and assist in formulating optimal surgical treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Consultant Surgeons during surgical procedures to correct or prevent injuries, diseases, and deformities, while strictly adhering to regulatory, safety, and ethical standards.
• Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including risk assessment and management.
