World Diabetes Day Event

The World Diabetes Day Awareness Event hosted by Al Kindi Hospital successfully attracted a large
number of patients with diabetes and individuals interested in diabetes education.

The event featured a diverse range of awareness programs, including consultation sessions presented by a panel of specialists including Consultants Internal Medicine, Dr. Ashraf Abbasy and Dr. Ahmed Elsebaaie.
As well as, Dr. Ebtisam Al Dallal, a Consultant Periodontist Medicine, Surgery Consultant & CEO, Dr.
Mahmoud Sharaf, Uro-Genital Surgeon, Endo-Urologist & FEBU (INT.), and Ms. Hela Susan Paul,
Dietitian. They provided crucial advice and guidance on managing diabetes and preventing its
complications.

Additionally, the event offered free medical checkups, which included blood glucose and blood pressure
measurements, Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, and eye examinations.

A number of pharmacies also participated in the event, offering special discounts on medical supplies
specifically for diabetes care. The organization of this event reflects Al Kindi Hospital’s keen commitment to contributing to raising awareness of diabetes and emphasizing the importance of comprehensive healthcare for diabetic patients.
